FOOD ALLERGY AND ANAPHYLAXIS NETWORK, THE
FAAN is the most trusted source of information, programs, and resources related to food allergy and anaphylaxis. Its membership now stands at approximately 25,000 worldwide and includes families, dietitians, nurses, physicians, school staff, and representatives from government agencies and the food and pharmaceutical industries. FAAN serves as the communication link between the patient and others. FAAN's mission is to raise public awareness, to provide advocacy and education, and to advance research on behalf of all those affected by food allergies and anaphylaxis.
We have a variety of programs specifically tailored for kids, including the Be a PAL: Protect A Life™ From Food Allergies peer education program, our Kids’ Congress on Capitol Hill, a series of children’s books, a bimonthly Food Allergy News for Kids newsletter for FAAN members, an annual poster contest, Trick-or-Treat for Food Allergy, the Heart of FAAN Ambassador Program, theFAANKids website, and our newest program, Camp TAG (The Allergy Gang). These programs serve not only to educate and raise awareness, but to instill confidence in children with food allergies and help them learn how to manage their condition.

MOTHERS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING (MADD)Founded by a mother whose daughter was killed by a drunk driver, Mothers Against Drunk Driving® (MADD) is the nation’s largest nonprofit working to protect families from drunk driving and underage drinking. With the help of those who want a safer future, MADD’s Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving® will end this danger on America’s roads. PowerTalk 21™ is the national day for parents to talk with their kids about alcohol, using the proven strategies of Power of Parents, It’s Your Influence™ to reduce the risk of underage drinking. And as one of the largest victim services organizations in the U.S., MADD also supports drunk driving victims and survivors at no charge, serving one person every 10 minutes at 1-877-MADD-HELP.
